Fedora 10 from Fedora 11

Fedora Linux on my iMacImage by Stuart Bryant via Flickr

I am sorry to say that I had to regress from F11 back to F10. The issue was with Evolution.

I use my Linux laptop on a Windows domain and connect to MS Exchange. I am able to get my email, calender, and contacts Fedora 10's Evolution 2.24 using the Exchange connector. I was having extreme difficulty getting Evolution 2.26 to work properly. It is a rights issue that I was not able to correct.

I wanted my laptop to work properly as I was tired of using Web Outlook. This application is ok for quick access, but not suitable for daily work.

What frustrates me is that I have been using Fedora and Evolution for several years with out this type of issue.

I do know one thing. Fedora group will correct the problem.

Happy computing everyone.
