For years (13 to be precise) I have used Linux as my primary operating system both personal and professionally. I am a computer professional that works in companies that use MSWindows. I provide network and desktop support for this operating systems and an very good at it, but for me there is nothing but Linux, and using Linux in this environment assures me of having a system that just works.
Working with this wonderful MS Windows system (not) I have had the pleasure of removing trojans, worms, and other forms of viruses so that my user can continue to be productive. This can be a challenge at times.
But, for the many years that I have used Linux, I have as of yet to have the problems the MS has, and all of the pundits wonder if Linux is ready for the DESKTOP? How miss in formed they all are, or are they just incompetent?
